It's really not a good idea to handle the blues with an alcholic drink because alcohol can actually make you feel worse since it is a depressant (see: What You Need to Know About Alcohol and Depression. So, let's start the fun by pointing to the glass and spilling it!
If you really want to rev up your mood, you should exercise. This is not an issue of vanity, but rather it will promote your mental as well as physical health. What happens when you exercise? Your pulse rises and the supply of blood and oxygen to your muscles increases. As a result endorphin levels rise and this has a calming effect as well as improving feelings of well-being. If you exercise over an extended period of time, body fat will begin to burn and instead of feeling tired you feel energized.
