You have just been summoned summarily by the head of HR who sternly asks if you'll assist by answering some questions so that he/she can document a problem employee. You may be feeling understandably scared and you respond:

1. "No, I'm not a rat-fink; that's your job -- not mine.

2. You feign looking relaxed, smile and say "I'm sorry but I'm unsure that I can help because I've been so absorbed with my own work that I haven't had a chance to pay attention to anything else."

3. You mention that you actually have secretly been documenting that employee yourself and eagerly offer up your documentation.

4. You recall verbatim a troubling converation you had with the employee in question.

5. You say that you'd like to help, but alas you have nothing on said employee. However, you propose a sting operation so you can get the dirt on the other employee.
